Hey fellow vegetarians – what do you overindulge in over Thanksgiving? We don’t have the turkey, sometimes we don’t even have the stuffing (if it’s made with chicken broth), but there is still SO MUCH FOOD.
For me it’s carbs. Biscuits and vegetarian stuffing and bread crumb-coated casserole and just ALL THE CARBS.
I make no secret of the fact that I love Christmas. I wear it on my sleeve…and on my chest, belly, legs, all over the damn place because I think Christmas season is fantastic.
Although this is mostly a health(ier) food blog, I definitely enjoy the occasional decadent treat, especially cookies. In fact, they may be my very favorite dessert genre. So, in honor of my cookie and holiday love, I thought I’d compile a list of some healthier and not-so-healthy blog favorites.

I suggest you sleep in, put on your cozy slippers because, let’s be honest, those pajamas are staying on for as long as possible, and sip a large mug of coffee while eating some crispy-yet-fluffy gluten free waffles doused in maple syrup.
